I have worked professionally with dogs since 2000. I currently teach agility at Metro Dog, evaluate dogs for Ohlone Humane Society's ‘Hug A Pet’ program, and evaluate for the AKC CGC program (CanineGood Citizen). I taught at Berkeley East Bay
Humane Society and East Bay SPCA for 5+ years as well as volunteered my time at the Oakland Animal Shelter working with dogs and cats.
I graduated from SFSPCA Dog Training Academy (Certificate in Training & Counseling-2004), Special
Topics in Advanced Counseling for Stranger Aggression & Social Fear (2005), and Dog/Dog Aggression (2006) headed by Jean Donaldson & Janice Bradley. I completed the Marin Humane Society’s Consultant/Instructor Training Academy I & II with Trish King (2003 / 2004), and attended Bob Bailey - Chicken Camps (Discrimination, Criteria & Cueing, and Chaining).
I am senior lecturer at City College San Francisco’s multimedia program since 1996.
In my spare time Ii compete with my own dogs in agility and obedience. |
